The Corner Guard Advantage

InPro Corner Guards

When building a new home, or remodeling an existing house, the last thing needed is any type of damage to the area that has been repaired or built. The repairs have been made exclusively because they were needed or because it was time to replace any type of worn part. Whatever the cause is, something is needed to protect the most vulnerable places susceptible to more damage from normal wear and tear. These places need something to protect them that will also blend into the already remodeled or build environment to where they will be placed.

In houses or offices, some places may be more high trafficked by people walking by or holding on to walls or rails to climb stairs. These places are the ones that need to be more protected from normal wear and tear. One very important area are wall edges. Wall edges are probably the first part of any new home that is damaged by normal wear and tear. People walk by these areas constantly and can do damage with anything. These areas are also the first places to receive damage when a new family is moving into the home. When moving furniture around to place in various rooms, people cannot usually see ahead of them or to their sides, and the wall edges are the ones that receive damage from guiding the furniture to its designated places.

Buying a new home can be a lot of work and takes time and commitment to plan everything that needs to be done. Worrying about what might happen to brand new walls and edges should not be in the list of tasks to do, and installing InPro corner guards is the best option for this type of problem. Some people might think that a corner guard will completely rid any room of its appeal, but there are solutions to that problem.

In hospitals, most corner guards are made of metals and this is due to the hospitals industrial nature.

The extremely high trafficked areas of hospital hallways and the many equipment that goes through them, require that these corner guards be made of metal. In houses however, corner guards should not be  made of metal. This would completely disrupt the room’s design and appeal and will also give a hint of tackiness. InPro faux wood (Woodland Pattern) corner guards are to be installed that are made of faux wood. With this simple solution, two problems are solved. The industrial metal is replaced by wood and the room is kept with its appeal and design, according to how it was meant to be. Not only will this keep the house from damage, it will keep the edges without damage and the house as new as it was built for longer periods of time.

This protection is not needed only in personal homes, but also in any type of residential rental homes or apartments.

Even thought these might not be high traffic areas like in commercial buildings, these building have a high rate of change when it comes to the people inside of them. Especially in apartment buildings, furniture is removed and replaced very often, and this is where most damage to walls and edges occurs. The damage does not typically occur during the stay of any one tenant, and in some way, the landlord and owner need a method to protect their property from this bothersome wear and tear problem. By installing InPro corner guards, the furniture that is moved in and out of the apartments or houses that are being rented does not damage the wall itself. The InPro corner guard might be damaged after a move, but it is much more costly to replace an entire section of wall than to simply take down and put up a new corner guard to solve this problem.

InPro Corner GuardsAnother problem in rental properties are the walls themselves. These are damaged during the stay of the tenant and sometimes during the moving in. A lot of times, children like to play with toys that leave marks on the paint. Sometimes, they can make holes in the wall from bouncing balls around or throwing things. This is where the damage can occur. One way that walls can be protected at the lower levels is by installing InPro wall guards. These work in the same exact way as InPro corner guards but cover an entire wall. This solution is one of the best methods of preserving a rental property and even adds convenience. The landlord will not have to replace or do any work to the rental space after one tenant has left because the InPro wall guard kept from the damage from occurring. Instead of stopping for as much as a month to repair, the landlord can simply rent the property once more right away.
